If you want better walkability in Nashville - this is the one event you & all your friends must attend.

John Harkey wrote this about the event:

Friends and colleagues,

This coming Wednesday (October 8) the five announced Mayoral candidates will join me and many others at a place called @Ruby, 2411 Blakemore Avenue. It is the former church sitting between the Dragon Park and Harris Hillman School. You can park in the Harris Hillman parking lot.

The event will include coffee and a panel discussion by the would-be mayors about “walkability.” Let them know that the topic is important by showing up. It should be a good introduction to the candidates around a topic that we all care about.

Just so you will know, the announced candidates to date are: Megan Barry, Charles Bone, David Fox, Jeremy Kane, and Linda Rebrvick. All said they would attend. Help make Nashville more walkable. Walk (or bike or drive) to this event.

I hope you can make it.
